Did you find this dress (9T9218 from David`s Bridal)? I love it...this is the one I want, but I am looking for one for less than $600. I see that you posted April of 2007, so I assume you have already gotten married... I am getting married January 2008...I was wondering if you did find this dress and would be willing to sell it / rent it to me?

Thanks,
Chrissy

I am not getting married until August of 2008 so I dont have my dress yet. I found a lady on Ebay who is custom making the dress (exactly the same as Davids Bridal / Alfred Angelo ) cheap AND she is making the train longer AND making the matching veil! She is also making my daughter an exact replica for only $150.00. Good luck! I hope you find your dress. I am not getting my dress for quite a while, but if you do get the davids bridal, let me know. I might buy/rent it from you. Have a great weekend!

I have been looking for this dress since April (see original post). What size is it? I have not commited to buying my dress from the maker, not sure if i can afford it. Im a single mother of a disabled child & a full time student paying for my own wedding. Its costing a lot more than i thought it would LOL. I am interested in the dress. How much do you want for it? Where are you located? Have any alterations been done to it yet? Thanks Nicole

Hi Nicole,
I live in Indiana. I have the dress in an 18W. It has never been worn or altered. I`m asking $600 and that will include the slip tiara and veil that I also purchased. I will also ship the dress to you for free. I totally understand your situation and the end result will be so worth it. Let me know if your interested.

I think this might be a better match for Chrissy to buy. Not only is it still out of my price affordability, but i also discovered today that we are probably postponing the wedding until we can afford it :(

Do you need a misses 18/20, or a 18W/20W? The reason I ask is because the fit is completely different between the two, and the style number you`ve given is specifically for the Women`s size.

Thanks Alot!

Hi Chrissy,
The difference between the to is T9218 is regular sizes. 9T9218 is women sizes. You can look on the David`s website for more information.

If you are interested, I also have the same David`s Bridal dress for sale. It is an 18, but I had the back panel made bigger so that it would fit me better (I am actually a size 20 and should have gotten that size). The dress has been dry cleaned and pressed. I also paid $650 for it, spent a hundred bucks having it bustled and another 150 getting it dry cleaned. The only other alterations done was that I had the cleavage line sewed up a little higher so I did not have to wear the modesty panel in the middle. But no height, neck or other alterations besides the bustle. I am asking $400. If you are interested, let me know!

Shannon and Jaime,

And anyone else applicable,

Does anyone still have this dress? Sash color doesn`t matter. Thanks.

I have this dress for sale in size 22. I am asking $400 plus shipping costs. This would include the dress, bra, and slip. I also have shoes if someone wanted to pay $20 for them. The dress is ivory with champagne. A bustle has been added, one of the loops broke but that is cheap to fix. Also the dress would need to be cleaned buy the purchaser. The dress is usually $649 and the bra and slip are around $59 each. There is an album online at http://s658.photobucket.com/albums/uu309/ksgorilla/Wedding%20Dress/.

I have this dress in a size 18, pure white with a white sash. I just had it professionally dry cleaned and it is in a protective bag from the cleaners.

The dress has been shortened about a quarter inch (I know it is not much, but I could not wear heels due to an ankle injury) and has been let out a tiny bit. All alterations were done at David`s Bridal. The dress should still be able to be taken in or let out about 2 sizes either way. That was what they told me when I bought it. The alterations cost over $100 because of the beadwork at the bottom.

I also have a purchased dress bag I will include it in from David`s Bridal, the slip purchased at DB, which was a size 20, the veil from DB, and the headpiece from DB. The headpiece is still in the DB box with the $99 sticker on it. I have pictures of all items if you want to see them.

All items were used only once by me at my wedding. Purchased in 2009 for a September wedding. I know I paid over $900 for the dress, slip, veil, and headpiece. The dry cleaning cost me $90 but try dress looks gorgeous.

I also have a beautiful size 2T flower girl dress that matches well, I bought it online on ebay and my neice refused to wear it. She was young and hated the feel of the tulle skirting. I can include this for a small cost if you are interested. Plenty of pictures of it.

Respond back if you are interested in the dress, and it should email me. I will include the slip, veil, headpiece, and dress bag, unless you don`t want or need it.

I guess $400 for everything, maybe a little less if you don`t want all of it. We can negotiate shipping. I will look into those flat rate shipping boxes. If you can`t afford that let me know and maybe we can work it out.

Oh, and on that last message, I paid to have the bustle put on the dress, so it is already ready to be bustled.

I actually wore it up for our entire wedding, but I`m not a fan of trains. The train on this dress is beautiful though.
