Butterfly Release
Hi,
I`m a college student who is doing research on Butterfly Releases for weddings and special occasions for my major. I orginally came up with the idea because I hope to have a butterfly release at my own wedding someday.
I was wondering if anyone has used butterflies in their wedding (or any special occasion)? How did it work? Was it worth the money? Did they all survive the shipping process? If you had it to do over again, would you still include a release at your event?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice that you can provide!

I have seen it done in two weddings. The first wedding, it did not go so well. You need to take the butterflies out enough time so they will fly away. Some of them do not make it, because they are either not ready to fly so they go to the floor and people step on them. It is really sad. The other wedding was better because they took them out early enough to fly but some still did not make it.

Maybe you could use this as an argument/variation. I think a dove release is much more beautiful and they are always ready to fly and are trained and have a very high survival rate. I do wedding videos for a living and the dove release is awesome slowed down on the video. Its beautiful!!!
