Did you order those from Yankee Candle online? I gathered pine cones last fall and will be using them on the tables, too. I got the idea for our save the date announcements online, I think from the Knot. We went to a photo booth in the mall and will mail black and white photo strips. In the photos we are holding signs that read "he proposed," "she said yes," and the last one says Save the Date / October 13, 2007 and the location. They turned out really cute. I used a nice heavy, card stock paper which I folded in 1/2 and took 2 way tape to tape the photo inside at a slant. I got seals to hold this shut and will just address the outside - I`m really excited for my family to see them! I haven`t addresses or mailed them yet, though. Hey, I heard a rumor postage will be going up - anyone know about that, maybe I need to mail them out...quick!
