How Much To Pay Each Of The ..
Currently in the middle of planning a shotgun wedding all of a sudden, looking at July or so of this year.
However, Im unsure of how much to expect to pay for a few things, or what the general rule of thumb is here.
How much do I pay:
The minister who marries us ::
The church for the ceremony / reception ::
The pianst::
The person who sings at the wedding::
I am unsure of what the `going rate` for these services are. Thanks in advance!

Most of the time the church/minister will do the wedding for free and you dontate a thank you envelope with usually around 50 dollars. If there is an organist dont forget about them. Your reception depends on what kind of food you want. If you want a full dinner, it will cost more. If you are planning a wedding that is small and without warning, you could do a bbq or you could do a pot luck dinner where everyone brings their fav. Dish to share. It will save you lots of money. I was lucky enough to find a hall that will only charge me 25/per person and thats the cheapest i found. 1/2 price for kids under 10 and under 3 free. A dj will charge around 500 sometimes less some more. If you do want a different singer or pianist or violin player at the wedding, you could call your local high school or college and see if students are interested. Last but not least remember a Friday or Sunday wedding will always be cheaper.
