Bar Mitzvah Centerpiece

My son is in a percussion movement group that is like `STOMP`. They drum on trash cans, plastic bins, drums, pots/pans, etc. I`m trying to come up with a centerpiece for his Bar Mitzvah party and want something that looks cool but classy! Any ideas would be appreciated.
