An Easy Fun Way To Have A Guest Book...........

Here is what i am doing......

I am going to have my cousin and aunt "manning" the door at the reception hall. As families come in, I am having my cousin take a polaroid of the family and my aunt will give them (mom or dad) a marker to write a little message at the bottom and their names on the back. I am taking all of the polaroids and putting them in a photo album for a fun scrapbook guest book instead of just boaring names on paper.

After dinner, I am having the DJ announce if anyone has not had their polariod taken, do so now, etc. My boss is my photographer so I will have fantastic shots (hes a professional) but this way I also make sure to have a photo of everyone there!!!

My sister did it that way. It came out cute as long as you get everyone. If you can get two cameras to get both sides of the door so no one will pass without taking there picture that would be better. Trust me, not many people go back to sign the book later even if the DJ mentions it. If you had the money, my cousin did the photo booth. That was really neat. Most likely a lot of money though.

I would love to rent a photo booth but i think its over $1000 for 4 hours and thats a lot seeing that the guests will probably only use it once or twice at most. I think it would be awesome. Hopefully i can find a cheaper one! I have until 8-23-08 so maybe they will come down a little by then.

To be honest, my cousins wedding was boring and the band sucked. We went in the photo booth 3 to 4 times just my husband and I. So if some of your guest don`t like the music it gives them something else to do. Not saying they won`t have a fun time if you don`t have the photo booth
