Please Help - SAVE THE DATE MAGNETS!
I am planning a wedding for June 2008. I would like to send SAVE THE DATE MAGNETS to my guests.
When do you think would be a good timeframe to send them to my guests? Stuck on this.
Also, I have already created my gift registry and wanted to include the registry information on my magnets. Would this be okay?

It`s fine to send save the dates as soon as you have a date set. Howeve,r it isn`t considered proper bridal etiquette to include registry info on anything you or your fiance send. A great idea is to have your maids, mother, ect.. Spred the word about your registry info, that way, gifts do not become an obligation.
This is what I`ve been told, hope it helps

Hi. Save-the-date cards are usually mailed from 3 to 4 months prior to the wedding, but may be sent earlier for a destination wedding at a distant location. Be sure that everyone who receives a save-the-date card also receives an invitation. Also, that you have booked the ceremony and reception sites for the desired wedding date, meaning signing contract and putting down the required deposit before sending these cards or magnets. As to the registry, I agree with Amy. Although a wedding invitation demands a gift in return, it is in extremely poor taste to insert a list of places where the bride and groom are registered or a checklist of the things they want or don’t want. This information should be shared with your wedding planner, maid of honor , parents and /or attendants who can be resources for guests who want to know.
Hope this helps. If you need any further information, feel free to email me at divineweddingsandevents@gmail.com
