Registries??
I have a wedding date of June 2008. The word is out to the family/friends of this date. I have already created my gift registries for what I need and desire for my new home with my FH. When would be a appropriate time to let guests know where you have registred. Some of them have online access while other out of town do not.
I also had a situation where a coworker had a bridal shower and we went to purchase the gift and realized it could only be purchased online and it would be available in 2 to 6 weeks. So we ended up giving her a gift card and attaching a picture of the item that we wanted to purchase for her. I feel guests should be notified well in advance so situations like this wont occur.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

This would be one reason that Save The Date cards are so nice. You can include your wedding website on the Save The Date, and make sure you list all your registries you have signed up with on your wedding website.
I would be most happy to assist you in finding the perfect Save The Date card. I carry them to fit every budget and style.
