Im Confused Help Please

Are you subpose to wear white panty hose w/ your wedding dress or does it matter??
My friends are having a fight over this some say yes and others say no and i for one dont know!!!!
My dress is white and the shoes im wearing are a clear (almost like cinderalla slippers)
Does it matter can i wear nude?? my dress is long and puffy no one will see them in tell the garter toss.
Hmm confussed on what to buy!!
