Reception Ideas

I am having a reception out in my back yard and my sister -n-law is going to DJ. My question is i`m not sure if i need to have a theme and if so what kind? Its more less gonna be like a big party outdoors and i need ideas to make it more like a reception.

Setup your tables and chairs and put your weddiing decorations on the tables. Also give it an agenda.
At this time we will do this.....
At this time we will do that.....
Now its time for ......
Have the DJ Acknowledge you two and provide her the agenda for what you will be doing.
So it`s still your day and its about the bride and the groom.

I suggest picking a color theme at the least. By matching all your wedding items - flowers, invitations, favors, bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen attire - you instantly create a theme. I would choose colors based upon the season. For example, in the fall - choose oranges, reds and yellows. Plus by sticking to the seaon, you will get the best deal on in-season flowers.
