Dance Floor Idea

I am looking to make a dance floor for my outdoor wedding this August. Does anyone have any ideas of how to make one.

Rent one. You can usually rent one from a party supply place.

I have priced them at party rental shops and they are expensive.

You can put down some inexpensive cloth the size that you want your dance floor such as burlap and cover with 12x12 ceramic tiles. The burlap will keep the tiles from moving around. It is really inexpensive plus you can reuse the tiles in your new home.

We are also (probably, weather permitting) doing an outdoor wedding. For our dance floor we are getting simple plywood, a couple of the full size sheets, connecting them to make it big enough and either painting it blue (our color) or getting super cheep carpeting of some sort and tacking it down. I may change my mind about it again too if anyone has any better ideas. :) Just use your imagination!

Is this going to be on a hard floor you`re putting on or the ground? I can help you with that and with many other ideas, just email me directly.
