Black & White Wedding Theme - HELP!!!
I am looking to have a strictly black & white wedding. IF you have any suggestions (including websites or pictures) for cakes, floral arrangements, aisle runners, reception hall decorating, etc. I would be very grateful!
*Please do not tell me to add another color, as that would really be the last resort.

Black and white weddings are very elegant. One way to make sure that it looks like a wedding and not a funeral, is to incorporate a sash or ribbon around the bridesmaids dresses under the bust line. The sash can tie and go all the way to the floor for a dramatic effect. I know you dont want another color, but you could try using different shades of white for different things to bring a little contrast. You could use off white, eggshell, ivory, bright white,,,,ETC. Good luck and happy planning

I agree with the white sash for bridesmaids & varying white shades for flowers & decor. My collections include silver and/or crystal cake decoations & other accessories that look very elegant without adding an additional color. I`ve never seen a black & white wedding look like a funeral! www.boutique4fashion.com

(THAT BELOW IS SOMETHING THAT I FOUND ON A SITE AND IT SORTA SUPPORTS WAT I SAID THEY JUST SAY IT BETTER)
Keep your wedding attire simple. A black and white theme doesn`t go well with ruffles and frills. For the bride, dress in a sleek, straight white gown. Some raised embroidered details near the hem would look lovely. Add a long chiffon scarf draped around the front of the neck, over the shoulders and hanging down the back of the dress.
