I`ve been out of high school a few years and have been to many dances. Honestly the best corsages don`t really match the dress exactly. You would get one with orchids or a lily that is has white or ivory and a hint of that dark red or maroon that you have in your dress. It would make the flowers stand out more if be a littler color with a hint of that red in them. But here are some flowers that can be found in red: amaryllis, camellia, freesia, anemone or even a carnation, daisy or tulip. I’m not sure if you have all those made in to one, but if your making your own you can get creative. Even red poppies could be neat. Also you could go with an ivory, white or light pink flower and complement it with ribbons that match your dress color. There are a lot of options, but personally I think the orchids make the best corsages.
