Hey Denise,
You know me I will be glad to do it,and honestly I think she`s laying about having kids, I don`t know. Just let me know.

Oh my goodness! I was literally about it send in my payment to her when I decided to see what was posted first! I can`t believe this lady! It`s terrible to think that someone would take advantage of people like that. I certainly hope you`ll be able to do something about it.

It is also called Angel Dust Creations. I am not sure if she only has problems with this cardholder box but I haven`t heard anyone say they had a different outcome. I read another person say they received nothing of value and nothing as what they ordered. Since there are a few people who have complained, it must be true. It is unfortunate because she sounds so nice and believeable. Our purchase was made in January and we are only 2 days shipping and she said it was on stock and we`d get it right away. Since then between my mom and myself she has told us at several times that the items has shipped but then either an "assisitant" did something wrong or something was wrong with UPS..

I am just curious how you paid for your purchases. If paid by credit card, your company may be able to trace back to the person that did this to you or you could dispute the charges.

Also my husband knows alot about computers and the internet and he said that you could probably get the internet service provider that hosts this website to track the ip address for the person that is scamming you all. Most likely the info that was given to you was all fake info so you`ll need help from these companies to track down this person.

I am so sorry this has happened to you! What a shame! Brides have enough stress during this time without something like this!!!

The owner of this company claims that Denise & K are the same people & that the whole issue is over an item that can`t be returned or won`t be refunded, or something like that.

She said she is a store and that if you call Maggie Sottero, they will tell you so. I would suggest that to anyone who many order from her. You don`t want to go soley on one person`s experience, but you also want to watch your back.

I don`t know what to think, but I would like to know the real deal b/c she is offering awesome pricing!

Thanks for your message, but I paid through paypal, and I was giving starkeeper benefit of a doubt, because i am so nice, and paypal only gives you 30 days to file a complaint, and I did not know that, so there is nothing i can do about that, I don`t know how others paid though, but thanks again for your concern.

First of all Cathy, me and this person Denise are not the same people, and you should think real hard before saying something stupid like that,because people for an accusation like that get in trouble, this is not a kindergarten. Second of all if you really think that, than I suggest what you do is sit down and read all of the complains, and think real hard about it. And third of all I wish for you that you will go through the same thing as I am, than you`ll will feel how i do and think as i do. Okay. For all I know you can be one of her (Melody)friends. And who is Maggie Sottero? I would like to speak to her, if she seem to know about my issue.Because i certainly don`t know who she is.

I live in Monroe NY and have filed a complaint with my local police department and the Better Business Bureau of Maryland. My name appeared well after other messages and no one has claimed that they have received their item. Cathy Mel sounds convincing but why don`t you wait until Vicki replies she has her dress because it is suppose to be on the wway for the last several weeks and her wedding is 6 weeks away. She is also being trusting. I am writing a message to alert you all for my troubles. You want to purchase with her whydon`t you find out her legal business name and check to see when it was started and then check from references. She has told the state police of a shop in Maryland.. Also question why you may not see her items on ebay. If she is offering such a great deal that could be her starting price and then she could make more money. And there is another girl on this message board who Mel advise in 1 day she got the size she wanted and the specila veil and shoes. I would also question if all of the sudden some folks start to say that got their items because perhaps then they are friends/family helping the rouge. I would wait on Vicki and also if she is any what legit my mom should have her money refunded today as per Mel to my mom and police. I am just advising of problems I had, you can purchase but if this is such a successful shop why is her website only with geocities????

Pam--thanks for the advise and we are already checking those routes. The Credit Card compant, BBB and other authorties are looking into issue

I wasn`t making accusations. I was telling you of what she told me. Maggie Sottero is a label of a wedding dress that is pretty costly, so that is why I was checking in w/Angel Dust Creations. I am doing my research on her before I buy. I have called Maggie Sottero & am waiting on a response. I hope all works out for you. I was just letting you know of what Melanie is telling her customers about you. I don`t know who is the truthful one. I don`t know either of you.

I have spoken with Melody and if my dress does not arrive by the end of the week she is going to send another by Express Mail. I still have no reason to doubt her and I will certainly let everyone know when my dress arrives. Melody did say that in the future she will be sending items COD to save any problems in the future. I understand Cathy but I am sure K and myself could send you our paypal page and just show you that she already lied to you and then what kind of busines sperson is that. Also if you go to the Knot and search for Melody there is an item called slander or something and a girl comments that she had never gotten her dress. Also I read some other message on that site and it says that her selling on the knot message board is not allowed per their rules and makes people question. I just do not want you to be taken advantage of.... I will let you know if I receive refund but I placed an order back on January 23rd and I can send you tons of emails I received from her as the story changes and changes and emails my mom has as well. I am just sharing my story and I do not want anyone to think I am the same person as K. Although we have contacted one another and many of the same things were said throughout us waiting for our order. My weddining is not until September, so I have time. I hope things go well for you, as I can say Mel sounds SO nice, genuine and honest. My om thought she was a fraud weeks ago and I kept defending her and look where I am now. Vicki--just an FYI she advised me that she was going oto send me another item as well because one was misshipped and another one UPS screwed up on and now one is again out to be delivered. I am only 2 days away from her. You can be trusting but get the tracking number today and make sure it shows it is going to your address and then make sure IF you get a package it is what you wanted.....

Do not believe she is on ebay and us of this moment she still has refunded my money as she told the police, myself and my mother. She promised she would do it over the weekend and then first thing today. I have emails that show her stating these promises if that will make anyone question her standards. I will again post when a refund has been made

Received a refund on PayPal from Starkeeper today. Thank you and itmakes me feel better about the whole situation. Who knows what happened and I am upset product was never received but at least money was returned.

Good luck. You might want to start looking for a substitute dress just in case AngelDustCreations is a fraud.
If she is real, you can always sell the sub dress on e-bay or something.

When I was about to buy from her I was checking online for anything to do with AngelDustCreations or starkeeper. I look in e-bay to find out about what she has done. They showed that she is suspended and has 6+ out of 8+ bad comments. She had bid and not pay for items.

Based on that bad ethnics, I decieded against ordering from her.

Hmm...I`m totally confused. Okay, I`ve written posts saying people should be cautious when considering dealing with this vendor but now this is weird. Lilly, how did you search under ebay? Because when I searched under "starkeeper" and "angeldust" I got 2 results and neither one had the feedbacks you stated " and it doesn`t state that these accounts are suspended, it merely says the seller currently doesn`t have anything for sale. "Starkeeper` had 9 feedbacks and they were all positive and angeldust had one complaint back in `98.

Susie, try starkeeper_75 like her e-mail, then it will have a "starkeeper_75(-3)" click on that and it will lead you to the breakdown of 3 good comments and 8 bad comments. It was kinda weird since the bad comments are pretty bad and the good comments state she is great. I just wasn`t willing to purchase from someone that had that many (or any) bad comments/business ethnics. I did give Vicki the heads up when I found starkeeper_75 on E-bay.

I though I would post here also, I received my tracking# from starkeeper_75 today. She actually said she couldn`t get through to my E-mail so she called me. I will keep everybody posted

Did you put the tracking number on the UPS site. She gave me a tracking number once but it was to another address and it was out lost again...... She blamed a `recently` let go assistant

I got my tracking number and the dress will be here shortly, i will keep you posted, Melody has actually sent a second dress and has gone out of her way to do this for me. I will post as soon as I get the dress

I am so happy for you. I wonder what ever happened to the first shipment. Please keep us all posted of the arrival and if it is as perfect as you wanted.

No I have not put it into USPS. With USPS, the tracking#`s don`t show up right away. They can take up to 3 days to show up on the site

I just tracked my dress and it says it was mailed out on Wednesday the 19th

Lilly- I just looked up starkeeper_75 on E-bay and you are right she is on there and has negative feedback but if you notice she is the Buyer and not the Seller on all of the transactions

Leticia- It`s true that she was the buyer. However, I really do not want to do business with someone who doesn`t pay for their bids. So they don`t pay, what make you think they will deliever. That was why I didn`t order from her. If you, Vicki and anyone else feels comfortable with her then it`s okay to do business with her. I just don`t feel comfortable.
Hope you do get the dress, and my gut-feeling is wrong.

I am sorry that you still have not received your refund. It is hard to know who to trust when they appear so nice and honest. We are not the only two who had problems with Starkeeper aka Angel Dust. You must take action with your credit card company, BBB, FBI-for internet fraud and local authorities. If she can`t handle her business properly others will eventually learn if you report on BBB. Please take action. Unfortunately my transaction has led me to be much more cautious and unfortunately I will find it hard to believe a deal on message boards. It can take one person to ruin it. On the bright side my mom is attempting to make me a box because she doesn`t want to go through an ordeal. She bought most materials from craft stores and I think it will look great when it is done. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Unfortunately are story is the same. She oddly enough had the exact dress, size and color. Made payment through paypal very communative until then. Dress arrived a week late. Said her father was ill. Dress was the wrong size and the accessories did not come. She blamed it on her assistant. Said she would ship out the correct on with every thing else. Two weeks later nothing and no communication in any way. Then I recieve an email she was sick in the hosptial and would be shipping out everything shortly and gave a number to call if had any questions. Two more weeks later nothing. Doesn`t respond to any email , I quite wasting my time on the phone, just rings. I have dispute with paypal and credit card company. Paypal has found in my favort but "are unable to collect." I called paypal and was informed that her account is frozen until this matter is corrected. Credit card company said not to worry pay pal is responsible, so I am not out the money. I have filed with the BBB of Maryland and am trying to get in touch with someone from "Maggie Sottero." I would like to see her license get revoke or suspended. My fiance` is extremely upset and I don`t like being jerked around. From the looks of it she has caused more than her fair share of stress to others. I am still waiting to see if she comes through, it is going to be hard to conduct buisness without paypal and collections wanting money. If need be I am going to make a personal visit to the store, I work for the airlines so I can be there in about 3 hrs, It will cost me nothing but time. Did I mentioned how much hate being or seeing others taken advantage of. Obviously I found this site after the fact or I would of never consider doing business with this so called "COMPANY." I STONGLY adivise anyone NOT TO.

I am so sorry to hear your story because it was so similar to mine and all believe her. She did repay me but my bo was dollars to what you paid, I am sure. And to be stressed like that before a wedding is awful when it is unnecessary. Besides the BBB we also did something with the FBI for internet fraud and our local state police. They called her and were going to send an officer out he way from there area if the problem was not resolved. We then got our money. But I suggest if anyone has taken follow all of these steps, if enough people complain and thedollar amount grows, she could wind up in a huge amount of trouble. I am not sure if I have all the info I had on her but I will gladly pass it along if needed and if I still have, thanks! With complaints to the BBB has it appeared on their site yet to wan customers. I do not believe I ever got a final confirmation

How did you go about contacting the FBI? If I cannot get a refund from her the honest way, this is going to be my next step. I have decided to cancel my order with her no matter what. I have the same complain as all of you about starkeeper_75. Eversince I paid her 2 months ago, I lost contact with her. Seeing all the concerns I am reading I finally dicided that I was trick by her.
I filed a complaint today to the FBI. I advice that people should do the same. You could fill the complain form through: http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp

More and more info and complaints are arising - please search the knot boards for melody or starkeeper, you might find some needed data for assistance, also search this board, i believe there is an officer or an official who wants to be contacted and has her current address

Angel Dust Creations is listed on BBB as satisfactory so please dispute through them in hopes of getting recourse

I contacted Deputy Warren Carter this morning and he needs any victims who wish to persue their loss. Please call or email him ASAP so he can add this to the file as he does the investigation. The more victims the better chance she will pay for what she has done!

Melody Reed is a TRANS-SHIPPER. This vile business practice entails ordering items from another store that actually has an account. In the bridal industry, this is a tactic only used by the lowest-of-the-low...normally, people who don`t have good enough credit to get their own account with the manufacturer. All her "excuses" seem to be LIES. What`s next? Is she going to fake her own death?@!

Well I just spoke with Deputy Carter and this is what he told me. The States Attorney has agreed to go through and press criminal charges. There will be a grand jury hearing and then they will return an indictment and it will immediately go to a jury trial. For those that have contacted him about your issues, you need to send him a typed signed statement detailing your complaint so he can enter it into evidence at the grand jury hearing. You can send this to him at 708 Furnace St, Cumberland, MD 21502. Grand jury meets the end of June.

To all the ladies that were taken by melody; she should be in custody by the time this posts! i am on the grand jury;we didn`t hear this case in june, because we heard 31 drug cases and the state`s att. Thought that was enough for one day! heard your case today and we signed off on it! soory, for your bad luck!

Denise, we heard 12 cases today in court of women she`s gotten! god only knows how many more there are that didn`t report her! C3I heard through the grapevine,that she was pulling up stakes and headed for hagerstown,md. I hope they made the arrest before she left town!i`d be willing to bet they got her!! the 31 drug cases we heard, that i mentioned earlier :24 or 25 of them were busted that night and they got the rest of them within a few days! we might be a small town, but our C3I unit is top notch!
