Hi Katrina,
Congrats on finding the "right" guy for you, that is terrific.
Some suggestions I have for you...
Checkout places like David Bridal where you can get an affordable wedding dress or there are a ton of vendors here that you can look into. You can also see about getting a pre-worn wedding dress. If you yourself have a beautiful yard or a friend who does, try to arrange the wedding and/or reception to happen at someone`s home. You will save a mint. Checkout places like Michaels or do a search of the internest for party favors or ideas on how to make party favors. Be sure to checkout Bridal magazines, a lot of them come with wedding checklist and an average cost of what different services should cost you. Also, don`t forget to involve friends and family, everyone likes to help out for and be a part pf a happy occassion.
Most of all, try a change in perception, instead of focussing on how you can`t get the wedding of your dreams, start telling yourself, my dream wedding is going to happen and I am going to do all the research to make it happen. Really, a change of attitude is the number one reason why just about every vendor here is following their dreams to do whatever service it is they offer.
Please respond to this message letting us all know where you are located and I bet people will give you the answers you need to help prepare your wedding.
Sincerely,
Dawn Katzin
