Quince Oct. 27th, 2007 Ft. Lauderdale, FL

We will be celebrating our daughter`s Quince in Oct. 2007. I am in the process of choosing the location in Broward (we reside in Plantation).

We are Cuban. My husband and I grew up in the Hialeah/Miami Lakes area and danced various Quinces in the mid 1970`s. It`s been a long time, and I`m sure some traditions/customs have changed.

Much to our surprise, our youngest daughter wants a Quince. She would like to have a court and we will need a choreographer. Do you work in Broward?

We are interested in a variation of the Quinces I remember from my youth. The theme will be "Havana Nights". The girls will wear a cross-style between a rumba dress and evening gown instead of the traditional ball gown. And the young men will wear slacks and guayavera shirts.
