David`s Bridal Is The Devil

I recently tied the knot in Seattle WA, and have nothing but bad things to say about David`s Bridal. I visited the store in Boise ID, Salt Lake City UT, Birmingham AL, and San Antonio TX, shopping for my dress, my bridesmaids, and flower girl. Not a single store offered good service. I waited over an hour to try on dresses after making an appt 2 weeks in advance at San Antonio, and in Salt Lake City I was the only customer with 5 sales reps who ignored me and chitt-chatted at the register. The final straw, I eventually had to order a flower girl dress from them (everything else I ordered from Alfred Angelo) and they screwed up the order not once, not twice, but three times! The dress was ordered in ivory - it was shipped in white, sent back and re-shipped in the wrong size, sent back and re-re-shipped the day before the wedding in RED! They said "well, the tag said it was ivory"... Seriously! There is a big difference between RED and IVORY. Practically opposite ends of the spectrum! Anyway, the Seattle store did shine some light by allowing me to exchange the dress the day of the wedding for any flower girl dress not in red, and the wedding turned out perfectly. Is all this stress and trauma necessary? Should there really be this much pain when dealing with a company that is supposed to make you feel like a princess? I highly suggest to future brides all over the world to shop elsewhere and forgo the white hairs, excess stress, and pain that this company causes. It really is not worth it, and you can find beautiful wedding items at other less snooty stores.
