My fiancee and I were planning on holding our wedding reception at Una. Have you tried asking them for a price quote? You need to ask someone soon, since they book really far into the future. I think they can serve food for you, too. David`s Bridal in Syracuse has some pretty cheap wedding dresses, and you just need to call to make an appointment to have someone show you the dresses. When one of our Bosnian friends got married, they had each person wear flowers, and you can get those from a dollar store or the 99 cent store. I`m planning my own wedding (my fiancee is Bosnian) so if I can find any more tips I can let you know.

I just got married in August 2007, I planed my own wedding, and if I had anyone else do it it would have cost me 20,000 or more, but we only paid 6,000 and I had a dream wedding, At a fancy resort reception and ceremony, on top of that we had a sit down dinner, not a buffet and all drinks were included (salad, appetizer/ dissert and odors before the reception). What to do is find a resort, most of the time, they will give you a ball room, and everything with it like the tables, dishware, silverware, and glasses at no cost as long as you pay a per guest fee for food and drinks. Based on the number of ppl it can be $50 to a $100 a guest. Oh and they might even give you honeymoon room for the night. When you cut out the reception hall fee trust me its worth it. Also buy real flowers, don’t go for fake, they don’t give off the same feeling as the real ones do, you don’t have to go to a flower shop, you can find flowers online and buy from direct farm, look up wholesale flowers in Google, I used this company http://www.onlinewholesaleflowers.com/ I got flowers for $500 and I an not talking cheep ones either they were out of season. Like Casablanca lilies, and such. I I had 200 roses, and 200 lilies, you will need to order them in advance 10days before they come 3 days before your wedding day, and they are fresh, this would of cost me $5000 to get at a flower shop. Just get your friends together the day before the wedding to help out. I bought my dress for David’s Bridal, they have nice dresses, just make sure you check it really well as all of there dresses are tried on. I did not know this so the dress that got delivered to me was not in good condition, they had to reorder me a new one, and when I went to pick it up, they had some other girl trying it on and it was 3 days before my wedding day. I went off, as she got make up all over the dress I bought . Thank god that they had my other choice of a dress in store for me to trade it in. Anyways don’t think the price of the dress mattered, I paid $700 for the 1st one, the other cost me $300 more. Another thing is don’t buy a vial from the store, go on line, e-bay. I bought one for $30 and it was new, and nicer then the one in the store. A big thing is when you go and try on a dress, were the bra top that you will be wearing on your wedding day, this will make sure you dress is a fit on the day. Oh one last part is rent chair covers for the reception, it really dose play a big part in the décor and the mood. You don’t want to spend all this money on making everything look good and to have the chairs just clash with it. I hope this helps you girls out., Best wishes.
