Wedding Sponsors

I am getting married September 22 in Saint Louis Missouri and I am in serious need of help. My family originally agreed to help then back out for whatever reason so know I have nothing but my dress and a few locations I might consider holding my wedding. If anybody has any suggestions or is willing to sponsor my wedding it would be appreciated and we can work out some kind of agreement to help you advertise.
Thank You.

Sherry,

Im in Ohio too,,,,,,,if you find anyone helping let me know please. Thanks!

You usually need to offer some kid of advertising in return for their services. Like my wedding I am in need of sponsorship and I am offering...

#1 ~ A great recommendation by my boss and also high end referrals by my boss who owns the most popular and high end photography & Videography studio in the cleveland area. (15 yrs experience) and we do high end weddings and celebs and pro sports players

#2 ~ My boss is submitting my wedding to be in one of the local magazines (cant use names or Ill get banned from this message board!)

#3 ~ I am also willing to put a notice in my wedding program showing who did what

Ie: Your Wedding Cake Company
1234 Their Street
Their City, State 12345
(800)555-5555

Etc.

Unless you have something to offer them (especially free advertising) then you dont have much to go on. You may be better off asking for discounts due to whatever situation or also you can go to your vendors and tell them what your budget is for them. Remeber its your money not theirs. I guarantee you can negotiate every price! You have the power. If you need a cheaper wedding stay away from June, July, and September. These are the most popular wedding months and its harder to get a discount when someone who doesnt know about the negotiating power or has daddys credit card to pay the full bill. You can try august like i am doing because it is hot and everyone wants outdoor weddings. If you are indoors there is air conditioning. In May and October, you can still get beautiful outdoor photos, but you wont be fighting other brides to book your vendors for your date. Also remember that a square cake feeds more than a round cake. You can also have a "faux" cake. The bottom layer you cut is real and the rest is frosted styrofoam. You can make the top layer real too if you follow tradition eating it on the one year anniversary. What you do is cut your piece and feed each other or smash whichever you prefer, and then they take the cake into the back to serve it. (What your guests dont know is that you have sheet cakes in the back to be cut which are almost always cheaper! They never know and you save $! Good luck with all of your planning! Happy easter!

Hello,
I create custom sugar cookie favors to match your theme and decor. If you`re interested, I would be able to offer them to you at cost (ingredients only). This is a new venture for me, and in exchange for me would be the exposure! Thanks!

I am also getting married in September 2007. My fiancee is ex military and is still trying to get his feet on the ground and a career going after spending almost 2 years fighting in the war. I can`t work beacause I was left disabled after a surgery and have chronic pain. I have two wonderful children from a previous marriage but no support there. My father is paying for most of the wedding and I was hoping there would be someone out here in California that would be willing to sponsor us and help in exchange for putting up an advertisement at the reception . Also I would give referrals and help to promote your business. There is one other option, I buy whoesale jewelry and sell it for retail. I would be willing to trade some of that as well. It is sterling silver, CZ, Marcasite and other fine metals.
If anyone is interested, please contact me by e-mail at

Hi all Brides to be. I had an idea of creating a dvd to show brides how to make there own designer looking flowers on a budget. I teach local floral classes that train brides how to save hundred`s and still have Beautiful Flowers. My audience is limited to my local area. Does this sound like something you Brides on a budget would consider? What about if there was a place in your town that rented really nice wedding supplies? Would you consider that. Thanks for your feedback. Email me if I can help with any wedding design questions. I don`t have alot of free time but I will do my best to help. Take Care, Try not to stress out, and remember your Wedding is your time to be a Princess for the Day!!!
