Ceremny Around Unity Candles

We used a unity candle in our wedding. It symbolizes the separation from your family and the unity of husband and wife. We had each of our mothers light a piller candle on either side of the unity candle, we then took the lit candle from each side and used it to light the unity candle. After lighting the unity we blew out the piller candle(symbolizing our break from our mother and father into our own life together).
