PeacePlayers International Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project
PeacePlayers International (PPI) would like to welcome Jewish young men and women entering adulthood to participate in the Jewish value of Rodef Shalom, pursuing peace. PPI works in Israel to bring together Arab and Jewish children through basketball on the premise that “children who play together can learn to live together.” Currently PPI works with over 600 participants in the Middle East.
PPI is giving Bar and Bat Mitzvahs the opportunity to become honorary PeacePlayers through PPI Mitzvah Project fundraisers. Bar and Bat Mitzvahs can set up fundraisers through PPI’s Change.org site which allows honorary PeacePlayers to set up events, fundraising projects, post pictures, video, and write a blog about their Mitzvah project.
