Most dresses can be let out at least a litte but that all depends on if it has already been altered and how it was made. Take it to a local dress shop or a seamstress to see what they say. They would be the ones doing the work. Like i said most dresses are made with a little bit of give since no one is exactly the same size. Good Luck and i hope it fits. Make sure when you go ask questions abut alterations...you try the dress on and show them what areas need to be altered and also mention about the material that needs to come off the bottom. Im not sure how it would work exactly since its not my profession, but they may be able to come up with a viable solution for you. GOOD LUCK with everything!

If you find a quailty seamtress in your area one that can add a side panel to your dress no one will ever know. I would call several places and inquire about a seamstrress who can do this task. If it has not been altered before their can be as much as a a coupple of inches in the side seams and don`t forget the zipper seam. I can recomend a seamstess in upper michigan but I don`t think your in our area. Hope it works out. Expect to pay good money for a good seamstress!!

You can add a huge bow draping down the dress, this is easy for a seamtress to do. Having the bow in your bridesmaids color is a great look. But expect a seamtress to charge $250 or so to alter your dress.
