Help Me!!!

I dont live any where near you but i can share some ideas since i am a 23 yr old bride with a maximum 6,000 budget for 08-23-2008 and im paying for it myself. First thing to remember is dont invite everyone you have ever met. Think about who you would invite over for dinner. Remember you are paying for these people to eat and drink and if you dont see or talk to them at least on holidays...sadly they are probably only comming for the freebies! Outdoor ceremonys can be cheap. Remember also that outdoor ceremonies can be very quick, so go easy on decorating outdoors. Try a beach wedding in the sand. Use the skyline as your backdrop. Makes beautiful pics! Also for cheap centerpieces use beautiful fishbowls at walmart or the dollar store and have beta fish swimming at each table. You can use water lillies or bamboo with them. If you dont mind being on TV check out whose wedding is it anyway. They will provide a wedding planner and a venue for being on the show. Then you can dine and deal with vendors and ask if they want to sponsor your wedding or give a discount for getting them business by free advertising on TV. Skip the flowers or go for silk. They are only used for about 30 mins all day except for photos. You dont carry them at the reception. Besides fake ones can be used at a later date in your new home or passed down to your kids. Renting a local communinty center instead of an expensive banquet hall can save too! If you dont have a huge guest list... You can rent a large bbq grill and have a cook out reception. Good luck with planning!! OH and PS dont be afraid to look for amazing bargans at the dollar stores. You`ll be surprised what you can find.
