Ideas For Destination Wedding

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had heard of a great destination wedding. We are looking for a tropical beach wedding (cheaper the better).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We will not have many guests, if any at all.

THANK YOU!

Hi, I`m not sure if you have ever heard of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic but they have a beautiful resort called the EMI SunVillage. The resort has a short video on there web site that shows the facility & I believe they also include the spot for weddings. I believe the address is emisunvillage. When the page pops up a seperate page will display for you to view the property. The rates were pretty reasonable when I checked into it. Good luck, I hope this helps.

WOW oh wow does it look beautiful! I looked for reviews, and they we 50% good and 50% bad. So we decided to go to hawaii. We are going to do some "island hopping" and one of the hawaiian airlies has a 10% discount for weddings and honeymoons. And the other major airline has an unlimited "island hopping" deal...so all worked out well for us!

Thank you!

Hi Becky,

I`m having a destination wedding in May 2003, I searched all over the place (Kauai, HI as well) and ended up selecting St. John in the US Virgin Islands. It`s a very small intimate and romantic island.

We were looking for a casual atmosphere and I came across this link for a wedding officiant in Oahu. I really wanted this guy to marry us but we decided we didn`t want to endure the 12-13 hr plane ride to HI... Site is a bit outdated, he only performs ceremonies in Oahu now. Here`s the link.

The Bahamas tends to be very inexpensive.

Las Vegas is ideal for destination weddings. They have lots of different wedding packages to choose from, and they also tend to be expensive, depending on which chapel and how much you want to spend. Also, some of their wedding chapels are incredibly beautiful inside.
