Storing My Wedding Dress

Hi everyone,

I purchased my wedding dress a few weeks ago off the rack and it came hanging in a white plastic bag. My wedding is next May 2004 and I was wondering if it`s safe to keep it stored in this bag until then because I`ve heard that over time plastic bags can cause yellowing of the fabric. Are there any type of special bags for storing wedding dresses that would be better?
