50`S THEME PARTY
Hi. I am on the decorating committee for my daughter`s fifth grade lunch and their theme is the 50"s. I was hoping that someone could share with me some inexpesive ways we could decorate our cafeteria and table centerpieces. Thanks

Sounds so fun...if you go to the thrift store or Good will you can purchase record albums for real cheap, you can print out something on your computer with the name of the school, 50`s trivia or petnames for teachers, etc., cut them out with a circle cutter and put them on the albums, place on tables or even make a centerpiece out of them by sliding them into a block of florist foam, then stick some silver star party sticks or curling ribbon in with it, then cover the foam with tissue paper, matching the party colors, or school colors..also fun room decorations can be letter sweaters (can`t find any make your own with thrift store sweaters and felt cut out letters, just hot glued on)...leather jackets, make a `jukebox` out of an appliance box to put in the corner, you could even hide a CD player inside with some tunes...also if you like at the Oriental Trading Co. On line they have some of those themed party supplies...need any more help just email me REV1812@peoplepc.com
