I Need Advice
I am 23 and my fiance` is 22. I am a senior in college and he is in the military. I have picked up my second major late in my college career, so therefore I still have a year and a half if not two years. We have been dating almost 4 years and we have put each other through some very hard times, but we still end up back together. He asked me to marry him and wants to get married this year. I know I can still finish what I have started in college. I have been accepted to the college near him. My parents mean everything to me and I do not want them to think if I do get married that I`m going to throw everything I have worked so hard for away. He is very supportive and wants me to finish and he is actually going to go back to school now, while still in military. How should we break the news to my parents who are 500 miles away that we do not want to wait.

Hi,
Honesty is the best policy. Let them know that you still do intend on completing college, but that you want to start your lives together now rather than later.
Good Luck
