February Wedding Colors

I can`t decide what colors I should have for my wedding. It`s going to be February 21, 2004. I was thinking purple but I`m not sure if that`s a "winter" color or not. It`s going to be in the evening.

How about red? It seems to fit. It`s more of an evening color. It works for winter, and it seem appropriate for February with Valentines day and all. Red would make a bold, sexy statement. While still being classy and elegant.

I am getting married on valentine`s day 2004 and I have chosen red. I was also considering burgandy, and black for the bridesmaids.

Hope you found a great color by now! I would go with pink & magenta. But that`s just me

How come no one likes purple as a winter color? I am getting married in Dec. 2004, and I am doing purple and red. People have been a little mixed about whether it will look ok or not, but I finally decided that I love it and that is all there is to it! I am accenting with silver. Is there anyone else out there that thinks this will look ok?

For dark winter colors, you could go with red, burgundy, gold, black, or navy blue. Also David`s Bridal has a beautiful color called "cinnamon".

You could also do a dark brown mocha color.

I think super-pastels like peach or mauve would look out of place in the winter time.
