That makes me sad that she has lied,betraded her trust,. Maybe you can get your money back.. Take legel actions if it was a far amount of $$ . If it was $50 or more you can.

Hi there. As an frequent viewer on this message board. I have one question, why hasn`t starkeeper replied to this complaint. Business`s reputation and livelyhood is built on its customers. If I paid for something and never received it, I would be saying the same things. It is hard to trust people now adays as it is and when you take a chance and order from a place like this and then don`t receive anything, I would like to know. If you did order this and paid, you can`t be liable for slander if it is untrue. I would suggest calling the Better business Bureau or contacting Partypop to file a complaint. Obviously starkeeper has no intentions of giving her side of the story and that is too bad, word of mouth is a very big selling or Non selling point from where I come from. I hope you guys get this resolved and don`t let it ruin your wedding. I am sure it is annoying but look for other options and have a great time!!

K--Contact me -- My mom order a Card Box frommy wedding. We will take action. Not to mention we need to see who gets the money. It shows Dennis Reed which may be a boyfriend or her father or husband and that person will also have legal suit. You do know her phone number correct - She went from saying she had a death in the family to her dad has heart problems to that she works as an auxillary police officer - I think her local police would be glad to hear what she is saying. Not to mention I have many items in writing and coworkes that can collaborate her lies as she was on speaker phone. Contact the FBI with internet fraud. They have the means to trace her. This was my mom`s 1st internet purchase and I can`t believe what a good liar she is.......

Please let me know what happens with whatever you do. I have ordered a gown from her and paid for some of it but not all of it. I do not want to pay her anymore money until I know what is going on. On one message board it states that someone actually received their stuff and there are some people waiting on the rest of theirs. I am very worried b/c I have given her a lot of money so far and cannot afford to get ripped off. I hope all works out for both of you.

K--did you get my email mesage I sent to you so we can talk more. I hope she isn`t a fraud to all of these people ordering. She had told me on the phone a few times that she sells dresses too and I hope it is legit but let us wait to see people commenting that they receive their items and it was worth the money. It is unfortunate that these things happened. If a vendor is out of stock it is better to be honest then to keep telling story upon story. Hope I can write somewhat of a retraction. Any others waiting on items from Starkeeper/Angel Dust Creations?

The owner of this company claims that Denise & K are the same people & that the whole issue is over an item that can`t be returned or won`t be refunded, or something like that.

She said she is a store and that if you call Maggie Sottero, they will tell you so. I would suggest that to anyone who many order from her. You don`t want to go soley on one person`s experience, but you also want to watch your back.

I don`t know what to think, but I would like to know the real deal b/c she is offering awesome pricing!

First of all Cathy, me and this person Denise are not the same people, and you should think real hard before saying something stupid like that,because people for an accusation like that get in trouble, this is not a kindergarten. Second of all if you really think that, than I suggest what you do is sit down and read all of the complains, and think real hard about it. And third of all I wish for you that you will go through the same thing as I am, than you`ll will feel how i do and think as i do. Okay. For all I know you can be one of her (Melody)friends.

I wasn`t making accusations. I was telling you of what she told me. Maggie Sottero is a label of a wedding dress that is pretty costly, so that is why I was checking in w/Angel Dust Creations. I am doing my research on her before I buy. I have called Maggie Sottero & am waiting on a response. I hope all works out for you. I was just letting you know of what Melanie is telling her customers about you. I don`t know who is the truthful one. I don`t know either of you. Her claims of you wanting a refund & you not getting it seem reasonable. Your claims seem reasonable too. I don`t know what is the truth.

She said she may start taking COD. IF this becomes an option, then I think that would help people out who are getting stuck. How did you buy from her? She said she just starting selling online 2 weeks ago.

You are right, no one has received their dress yet. Once they do or do not, then there will be others to talk to.

I can probably find you her original post which was back in December under some Cinderalla sector which again would go against her words. I paid via Pay Pal and she advised that she was shipping UPS nad even provided me a trracking number which ended up not being valid and then she said that a worker must have made a mistake but again weeks ago. She now claims that she has my tracking number and it shows to be out for delivery but she hasn`t been able to provide that to me and I could send you with emails of that too. Don`t you think if she had the tracking number it would be reasonable to provide customer`s with it???
Again, not arguing am more worried about you and others who may lose a lot more.

If you do a search for Cinderella Card Holder Box, you should see this message board and then you will see Mel`s message -- Also if you go to the knot and search Melody or do a search on starkeeper you will see messages that date back to at least January which is far more then 2 weeks. Plus I can forward you an email dated from when I mad epurchase in January of when i should see item and also her geocities web page. I can provide you with many emails if that would assist you in making a wise decision. Take Care

As far as that last link goes it appears the only person posting a positive comment is one that another user ID as the stores IP address. Please note protege is one that others are questioning

Received refund today and as promised I would advise all -- don`t know whatever happened to item I ordered but I am glad that when steps were taken, money was refunded. I just wish I received the item. I hope all else have good news to tell.

I am sorry to hear that many of you have been taken advantage of by this starkeeper person. I am an attorney and it really burns me up to hear about stuff like this. These people make a living off like this and they won`t stop unless something is done about it. Even then, most of them simply start up another business under a different name to avoid compliance with a court order for them to refrain from operating. Please contact the Attorney General in each of your state`s and file a complaint. More times than not there is pending legal action against her and you can be joined in a class action or either put them on notice that she is committing acts that she has likely been previously caught for. Don`t just stop there. Contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. Ask for a follow up phone call to give you the status of the investigation and then keep calling for at least 6 months after your initial complaint. This shows them that you are serious and that it is not just something that you want taken down on paper. Following up like this can spread the word, get complaints posted more broadly about Starkeeper, and hopefully put her out of business. Sadly enough, she is probably the type of person that will always find a way to swindle someone but at least make it hard for her. Best wishes in your endeavors and on your wedding days.

I am also learning that the Attorney General will assist promptly for my mom complained about a telemarketing scam and results were great

I`m writing this post because I wanted all the ladies that were being taken advantage of to see these posts and to stop making excuses for her or wait for her to send you stuff because it`s very obvious that she is not a person of her word, or someone you should be doing business with. Please act now ladies because if you don`t act to stop her or catch her then she`s going to continue to swindle innocent brides.

Well, I read th is and I just wanted to say...I was on ebay and ran into PerfectWed8@aol.com. Beware of her as well. Her name is Jennifer. I gave her 200.00 for a wedding gown and she never gave me anything. Just a bunch of bull....Not only did I lost 200.00, I lost my interest of the wedding....there were 15 other girls who bought from her.....BEWARE!
