Help!!! Prom Dress Emergency!!

A while back I purchased a prom dress online because of the long wait and I have lost weight since then. Is it easy to make a dress smaller? I don`t know much about sewing so do I need to worry? It will be about 5 inches too big all over. (Bust, waist, and hips) I`m about to panic because I don`t know what to do. There won`t be time to get another. Please help! Thanks!

It is easier to alter a dress smaller. Call a seamstress locally and they should be able to help. You shouldn`t have any problems
