What To Wear HELP! NEED ANSWER BY TODAY ;(
Ok here`s my problem, i was invited to a Quince it`s tomorrow saturday, i have a dress but my mom figures it`s too short. I think length doesn`t really matter does it? of course as long as it isn`t all hoochie length. The dress is just a little over my knee.
I need help do i need to find a new dress that`s long or just stick to the appropiate short lengthed one?
My mom doesn`t have exprienced and is basing what she`s saying on what she thinks.

In the last week, I have learned SO much about Quinceaneras... ("Maribel" is an awesome help). My daughter was in one today! I have an answer to your question... The length that you spoke of is appropriate (even for the church). My daughter and all the other damas are wearing that same length. The Padre` even gave his ok. HOWEVER, your mother may think the dress does not look the best on you, or something else.... Perhaps you should tell her that the length is appropriate, but ask you to be for real and tell you if she sees any other problem with the dress. She may not be able to tell you the truth about the dress. Maybe you could ask her what she suggests. If you don`t like her choice.... Look for another TOGETHER. Our jobs as parents is hard. Please be patient with us. To find the right words to tell you girls something is difficult. If, however, it is only the length.... And your still not sure, take the dress to the mother of the Quinceanera and ask her. She and her daughter have probably been told EXACTLY what is/isn`t ok (by the Padre`). Those two will be honest with you (because they wouldn`t want you to be embarrased nor would they want to BE embarrased) by any bad choices made by guests, etc. The object if for the Quinceanera to have all eyes on her. :-) If your not sure STILL, then you shouldn`t wear it. That is yourself telling you something is wrong. Good luck.
