Quinceanera Research For School

I`m doing a project for my Spanish class and I was hoping to get some information from girls/women who have first hand experience in planning this fiesta. Any information is appreciated. I`ve found info on gifts and such, but I`m wondering if there are any traditions regarding the food served at a Quinceanera. If there is something traditional that is served, I thought it would be fun to make it and serve it to the class during my presentation. Also, do they have pinatas at this festiva or is that primarily for younger children? I am looking forward to reading all the responses.
Thank you!
