Graduation

My daughter will be attending college in the fall,we are having a graduation party for her in June,we have found out that you can be on the gift registry at certain stores for graduation,I want to know if I can put on the invitation that monetary gifts would be greatly appreciated,or that (name) is on gift registry at (store`s name)
