Wedding Cakes
I just wondered what everyone thought. My honey and I are thinking of having two small cakes. Each to resemble a nurse`s cap and a police cap then have one bigger cake with 1/2 resembling his office and one to resemble my office. One to have police cars around it and the other to mock the nursing aspect.
The rest of the wedding will not reflect our occupations though.

That is a cute idea I can see that. You can have some one make two cast molds and paint them. Depending on the amount of people let say 50 people a 1/2 sheet cake you can use it as your cake topper then save for later.

Cute idea! anything goes now, its whatever you like. However, a thought may be that you may think about having the cakes at your rehearsal dinner? or another venue of the wedding. Reason i say that is because often people are full on cake, the wedding cake itself will be alot of cake. We are having a wedding cake and cupcakes on stands at the reception. As well as a grooms cake (cardinals theme)and punch after the rehearsal dinner. We are both cards fans. Congrats! good luck. Beccah

Hey everyone... I just had to tell ya, We were at a bridal show yesterday and ... I WON! yep, we now have $1000 cake, $3000 flower, a wedding planner (didn`t really want one) AND.. Horse and carriage! WOO HOO
I guess for 1000.00 they can make me a cake that looks like anything right? Keep the suggestions coming.
PS. Love the cookie idea. Yes, people are always hungry.. Esp for sweets!
