Artwork Unveiling

Ideas please. My husband`s portrait is being delivered tomorrow and I want to have an unveiling party in March so people can come and see the portrait that Project Compassion created. I have absolutely no idea how to put on an unveiling party for artwork.
HELP I would like this to be a wonderful event, but I definitely need lots of help.
