I AM IN IOWA MY WEDDING IN OHIO JULY 19TH
Help! I am in Iowa trying to plan for a wedding that will probably be in Ohio in July of this year (2003)...my fiance is over seas in the Navy and he won`t be here until the end of April to help get this done. Does anyone know where I should begin? I don`t really know his parents who are in Ohio. What do I do?

I know how you feel... I`m from Texas and my fiancee is from Ohio. My wedding is also going to be in Ohio. The best advice I can give you is to start looking for a gown, bridesmaid dresses, what flowers you like, what colors ect. Look as much stuff up online and get an idea of what you want for your wedding. Look for shops that are in Ohio online. It wouldnt hurt to give your fiancees parents a call. Ask his mother for her opinions on things and what services they have for weddings in that area. This may help you get in good with his Mom too! :)

I live in Ohio and would be happy to help either of you get some things squared away. All I need is what town your having the wedding in and somewhat of a budget. I`m not a wedding planner but I`d be happy doing some digging around.
Feel free to email me or respond back to this message. You might want to go ahead and at least put what town the weddings will be in so anyone on the board that is from Ohio or that area will be able to help!
