I`m a professional wedding planner. I got my start with the help of an excellent training program offered by the International Institute of Weddings (www.instituteofweddings) in association with SuperWeddings.com. The amount you can earn in this field really varies depending on a lot of things, like whether you are doing it part time or full time, and other factors. You can definately make a good living at it, if you are serious. When you are ready to make your move into this business, I strongly recommend the above mentioned training program. Its a highly respected distance learning program, and I can honestly say, I`d never be the success I am today without the program. The course taught me things I didnt even KNOW I needed to know. You have to keep in mind, being a wedding planner this isnt JUST about planning weddings, you have to really understand the business aspects that go along with it. And the course really taught me everything I needed to know about that. I was able to start my wedding planning business with confidence as a result, and Im pleased to say Ive been quite successful. If this is what you want to do, I say, finish high school, get good training, then go for it! Good luck!!!
