Has anyone been able to compare this to the Jasmine Couture H338 gown? That was the one I was originally set on, but the Sottero and Midgley is almost 1/2 the price. I haven`t been able to see the Sottero and Midgley in person, though, since it is a brand new line, and I`m hesitant about ordering a dress without having tried it on (even though it looks very similar to the Jasmine dress which I tried on and loved). Has anyone been able to try both on?

Hello Jenn from Canada - I am having this dress for my wedding for everyone out there it wasn`t what I had in mind at all but made me feel like a princess and is gorgeous on! Don`t know if this helps but Abbey Bridal in Australia (originator of Maggie Sottero) is where I`m buying mine - you could try calling them to ask if they`ll ship it or let you know of a stockist in Canada - I think they will send it to the store to try on - not sure however. Don`t email them they won`t reply. I think the maggie sottero website also list overseas stockists - good luck!

I just got married a couple of weeks ago and wore the SSM5027 dress. It is an authentic gown and absolutely gorgeous! I got it in diamond white with a diamond white sash (I didn`t want to get a colored sash because I felt like it would take away from the beauty of the dress). It`s been professional altered and has a beautiful french bustle. I can send you pictures if you`d like.

I still have a lovely Sottero and Midgley SSM5027 gown for sale in diamond white with a diamond white sash. It is a size 8 and has been taken up to fit my height, which is 5`3" (I wore flats).
