Money should not be an issue. Does anybody just know how to find a good reliable babysitter in San Diego that you know you can trust?

In response to how to find a good sitter - I have your answer! As an elementary education major at college, I can always use the money. Try posting ads in the education department of your local college. Be sure to ask the department head in advance as well. You should get a number of responses and many to pick from as well. Don`t be afraid to ask for references either! Good luck!

I am sure there are lots of "empty nesters" that would love to help young people by babysitting. I for one. My kids are grown and I love kids. I do not have grandkids to help out with yet so I would love to help. It would have to be nights or weekends as I work during the week. I would think minimum wage would be a good starting point.

I am desperately searching for a reliable babysitter in Santee. I don`t need someone on a regular basis - maybe once or twice a month. Does anyone have a sitter in this area that they would recommend?

The rates depend on the age of the babysitter. I am in my mid-twenties and have babysat/nannied for two families in the last couple years who both paid between $9-$13/hr for one to two kids. Remember, if your babysitter doesn`t drive, isn`t required to do anything but watch the kids, etc. . ., then you should be able to pay less. My rate included taking the kids to the park, library, beach, etc. . .(of course, all expenses were paid by the parents) and doing laundry, making meals, etc. . .

I am a reliable, educated and fun babysitter with plenty of experience and my own transportation. I have a college degree and love spending time with children. The hourly rate for babysitting usually depends on the number and age of children nd sitter`s experience. $10/ hr is a fair price for most babysitters in this area. If you need a sitter feel free to contact me.
