Father Daughter Dance
Hi there,
Does anyone have any suggestions for father daughter dance songs. Unfortunately my dad and I are not extremely close and I don`t want anything too sappy that does not reflect our relationship.

Maybe "You are the sunshine of my life" by Stevie Wonder. It`s pretty upbeat and not sappy.

I`m having the same issue trying to choose my song with my dad. We are not close at all and I find it akward to dance with him at all.
A friend of mine used "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. However, my dad hates that song, so I`m still looking.

I had a friend in the same situation. I`m pretty sure she chose "Through the years" by Kenny Rogers. I think I`m going to use "Little Miss Magic" by Jimmy Buffett. Check that out. It`s a cute song.

I am thinking of using Celine Dion`s Because you loved me. It is not too soppy but has lovely words and nomatter how close you think you are or Not he is your dad and HE LOVES YOU .xx Of course there is Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne `s Changes Good Luck XX

I want to have a father/daughter dance, but my father is dead. Would it be appropriate for my brother (who is giving me away) to step in for my father in that dance or just not do the dance at all? Any suggestions? Thanks. Cindy
