Inexpensive Wedding In New York

I am having a very hard time planning a wedding. I got engaged 1 year ago and my fiance and I cant afford a big wedding. I work part time and I am a full time student. With only one income it becomes really difficult. We want to have something beautiful and small and inexpensive. Are there any suggestion where i can have my wedding that isnt so expensive in the tri-state area. Please help i am lost. Thank you
