Baby Shower

After planning a baby shower at my home for my only sister she informed me that it was not good enough for her and if it were her throwing it for me she would have it a restaurant and would have gone all out. She told me to forget it. She would do her own shower and get the money from our father. My shower was going to be pure class and catered from a restaurant. I always thought that a person should appreciate the person having the shower. Is she right to want to plan her own shower? Was I wrong to want to have a classy shower in my own home on my own budget?
