Party Games For Senior Citizens
I just had 27 Sunday School members to a Christmas party on Friday Dec. 8 (2006). We played three games and they had a wonderful time doing each. I had a Christmas Bible quiz - tradition versus actual Christmas facts from the Bible. 25 questions, and you`d be surprised how many DID NOT know the correct answers, ExmP. How many wise men does the bible say visited The Baby Jesus?
Then, I used a muffin tin, and placed objects in each cup n the tin. 1 item, then 2 items, then 3 - up to #12. Of course, # 12 was a picture Partridge In a Pear Tree (so everyone got that one right) Let guests loolk for 2 minutes, then write down the items they saw. Example, 1 Snowman (ornament) 2 wooden soldiers (ornament) three snowflakes (ornaments) four candy kisses, 5 jingle bells, 6 Christmas ribbons, etc.
Third, each person brought two wrapped gifts. One gift that was something they already had that they did not want (and probably no one else would want either) and another gift (that they already had) that was decent, but they no longer wanted.) Draw names, the name drawn picks a gift 9 opens it and shows it to the other guests. Second, same, but they can keep gift or exchange it for the gift from the first person, and on around . At ende, the first three people pick again because they were limited to gifts to exchange with. There is ALWAYS one gift that everyone wants, and it will be exchanged over and over and over. Really had a lot of fun doing this. NO ONE TELLS WHAT THEY BROUGHT - and it gets really funny.
