Beach Wedding

We are having an outside wedding at our lake cabin on 6/21/03. We used message in a bottle for invitations. I called a local winery and they sold me the bottles for $10.00 per case. I filled the bottles with sand, small shells, tiny drink parasols, and the invitation rolled and tied with rafia, I left one end of the rafia long to hang on the outside of the bottle for ease of pulling out the invitation. We hand delivered all that we could locally, but boxed the few that went to out of town guests. It cost an average of 5.00 to mail the few that we mailed. Everyone loved them.
