Words can not even describe the show For better For Worse, Help us all out and rename the show "For worse" and hopefully not another bride and groom will have to go through the humiliation this show causes. I was at complete awe since the budget was $5000 and the manly boobed coordinator could not even give the poor bride a decent dress. No he had to call his "so called" costume designer friend to rig together a $500 milk-maid dress for her wedding day.The dress was hideous nor did it complement her body in any way. This show is giving a bad rap for the bridal industry , coordinators, and designers.

I liked the dress that he picked out - it was going with the theme he had choosen.. What got to me is what he said when he was talking to the host about the grooms attire! they came 22 dollars over budget and those ugly windchimes were 20 dollars to make! - he blamed going over on the grooms ettire! -- some kahkis and a long sleeved shirt. While the Brides attire was 500 dollars the grooms was only 50!

That show gives me nightmares. I would never give up the planning of my entire wedding to my family. Plus the host is really annoying and needs a better stylist for her clothes

I watch the show religiously! My fiance and I have been together now for 6 years and got engaged this past March!!! I have one issue with shows like this on TLC and other networks (with the exception of shows like Trading Spaces and While You Were Out). They always require that the show participants live in CA!!!! That leaves out great and interesting people from all 47 other contiguous states (not AK or HI as those it is understandable why shows don`t go there)!!! We live in Michigan and would love to be on the show, however, we know that there is not even hope becasue we are not in the special state of CA. Does anyone know why this regulation is in place???? If Trading Spaces can do it, why can`t others?! Thanks!

Probably budget for the first season at least. They are on Hiatus right now. I would email him directly because he probably isn`t checking back here very often.

I admit I am addicted to this show. Haven`t missed one yet.

Well, I just emailed him so we will wait and see if I get a response. How do you know that they are on hiatus right now? Is that why the show will not be on next Saturday? Thanks!

I emailed him a few weeks ago for information. They probably taped the episodes that are playing now months ago. I hope it gets picked up again next season.

My boyfriend is ring shopping for a 1 ct, and researching all the qualities of a fine diamond!! Yippee! For a special touch to the show , you could go with him when he picks it out, or proposes! We live in the San Fran/East Bay area! My family and friends would be better at planning a wedding than me. We are so in love and can`t wait to be married. Our families are both so happy for us. We were planning a wedding date for Valentine`s day. If you can`t work with us let me know, otherwise I will go ahead and book stuff now! Thanks for your time!

I was recently emailed from a person that was assisting me in planning a future wedding. She has not given up on me even at times I have. Unfortunately, I have been putting the wedding off due to finances, work and school. And I guess I just want the perfect wedding, just as any other individual. Now in the email the wedding consultant has sent me, I found out that I have the opportunity to maybe be one of the couples to be seleted to be on TV and have help with the wedding expences. I thought this will be the perfect opportunity to email you a little information about myself. We have not set the the date due to the issues above, but will so if we are the ones to be acceptedor selected. Here is a brief layout on who I am and my better half. Here goes nothing, I am a mother of two children and a graduate student at the univeristy of Wisconsin-Milwaukee working on my Masters in Social Welfare. I am currently a Social Worker working with the Indian Community helping famiies and individual in need of non emergerency or emergency resources. My finance works in the evening to help pay the bills since I am in school full time and working part time. He works very hard and as much overtime when he is allowed too. I graduate in December of this year with my Master`s and plan to practice direct practice in the Indian community. I am unsure what information you will need in this email but feel free to email with if this not enough. Thank you for your time on reviewing this email.
Sincerely,
Charity

I think I would appreciate the show more if it wasn`t so much a contest, but an actual show of budgeting and DIY projects to pull off a wedding for $5K. A lot of the show seems more novelty (especially pulling it off in one week with no input from the bride and groom) than an actual help to people who are planning a wedding. I keep thinking back to the show on Home & Garden channel where an interior designer recreates a designer look for $5K. I would want to watch something more along the lines like that than what is ultimately a reality show. Not to mention, TLC seems to be very inconsistent in what counts in their budget.

I can ONLY remember the SHOW that they picked out a FLORESANT PINK DRESS for the Bride.. HOW gaudy and UNwedding like.. I never watch that show anymore after that... IF they had more then a week and al ittle more money to spend weddings on the show wouldnt be so bad...

Ill stick to Trading spaces.. A lot of nice rooms are done with little money!! Get a lot of ideas... Wish I had TIE in my neighborhood cuz I can use a carpentar on a lot of things.. LOL

Holly

GOOD luck to those on the show

I saw the show with the pink dress and I think that it all worked out to be a beautiful wedding. I would not want a hot pink dress, but the bride in the show was rather unconventional to start with. I think that wedding came out looking great, much to my surprise. But like someone said, each to their own.
