Feathered Effile Tower Centerpiece

Hi,
I looking for directions on how to put together the effile tower centerpieces. I have the vases and the feathers, but had questions on what to use to secure the feathers. I was told not to use the wet foam. Can someone offer the knowledge. Thanks in advance

HI WHEN USING FEATHERS FOR THE CENTERPIECE YOU DO NOT USE WET FOAM. I DO NOT SUGGEST DRY FOAM EITHER. THESE CENTERPIECES SHOULD BE MADE AS A HAND TIED OR CLUSTER THEN INSERTED. IF YOU ARE NOT A FLORIST, THEN REMEMBER THAT IF THEY ARE NOT THE HEAVYWIEGHT TOWERS THEN YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR INSERTS LIGHT . IF YOU NEED MORE INFO EMAIL . ILL BE GLAD TO HELP

How many feathers would you use?
If they are handtied, does one have to put wire at the end or how do they all end so that they flow around the vase?

THE AMOUNT OF FEATHERS NEEDED WILL DEPEND ON THE BRAND/SUPPLIER YOU USE. A BETTER FEATHER/MORE EXPENSIVE/BETTER QUALITY ETC WILL COME IN LENGTHS AND THE FULLNESS WILL BE MUCH BETTER.
ARE YOU USING THE HEAVIER TOWERS MADE BY SYNDICATE OR THE LESS EXPENSIVE FOUND IN MICHAELS, ETC AND EBAY? WHAT IS THE HEIGHT? ILL CHECK TOMORROW FOR YOUR ANSWER THAN I WILL GIVE YOU DIRECTIONS AND AMOUNT AND INSTRUCTION YOU WILL NEED. HAVE A GOOD NITE

Thanks so much for responding and for offering to get me more information.

I was planning to put 10 Floss Ostrich Feathers 16-18" long.

I bought them from a company called craftfeathers.com.

Now I need to know how to put them in an effel tower vase about 20" high.

Thanks so much for your responses. Truly appreciative.
