Riviera At Massapequa-NY

I was just at a wedding there this past saturday and I would like to tell you that the food was terrible. The cockail hour ( which is usually the best part ) was awful. The server at one of the tables was chewing gum as she was serving food. The dinner was awful as well. The salad appeared to have been days old which is why nobody ate it and the flounder that I ordered was cold and very poorly prepared.

I was recently at a wedding on June 1 at the Riviera. It was a medieval theme wedding. The food and view was absolutley amazing. The cocktail hour was held inside and everything from the passed hors d oeuvers to the hot chafing dishes were delicious. The waitstaff was dressed in tuxedos and were very professional and courteous. IT is FANTASTIC! They serve TONS of food, the maitre-d is phenomenal. Service outstanding. We highly recomend it. Also listen to everything they tell you - they really know what they are doing.

I would like to say that i know three friends that were married here and the weddings were excellent, no one had a complaint. I even went there to see what they offer and one of the sales associate was very nice, answered all our questions, was helpful and accomodating. Besides the fact that you are the only wedding at that time frame, you are getting attention to every detail.... Remember everyone has their own opinion. Go see for yourself.. They let you taste the food as well, good luck...

My fiance and I looked at the Riviera at Massapequa this past weekend and we loved it. We need some help.. Please let us know how the food was and the service. We want to make sure we are making the right decision.
