Personal Shower

One of my freinds is recently engaged and getting married in May 07. Her fiance is having a poker night after the rehearsal dinner for the guys. So I thought, being the personal attendent, that i should throw her a personal shower since she is looking forward mostly to the lingerie for her wedding since she is a virgin. Her bridesmaids live alot farther than I do from her so since i"m the closest it would be easier for me to host the party.

Since telling her that i would do it, she has told her bridesmaids they dont` need to worry about throwing her a party, but they have since emailed me and pretty much taken over the personal shower planning.

So what should I do? 1. Step back and tell them that they can plan it themselves
2. Step back and plan her a different party for friends that are close to where she lives?
