Quinces Celebration

Did any of you ever hear this saying, "Metido en una camisa de once vara" or something similar to that. It`s supposed to mean that I`ve gotten myself into a very difficult situation or this is bigger than I ever imagined.
That`s what a quinces celebration has turned out to be for us especially for me that I`m at the point of throwing in the towel. This is going to cost us way more than our wedding, believe it or not. I am totally devastated and lacking in money since I didn`t think it was going to cost so much.
Any suggestions or the name of a good psychiatrist will be greatly appreciated.
