My niece is a pilot and is marrying a pilot. I am doing the reception and am looking for all ideas pertaining to airplanes. I would appreciate any input anyone has. I am especially looking for centerpieces and ideas for a runway table for the airplane wedding cake.
Thanks, Jan

Jan - Hi! Although I am not sure what you are looking for - I found wood BiPlane Kits at Michaels Crafts that I am putting together and painting. They are about 12" long and 4 inches wide. I got Red Bearon Beanie Babies on e-bay and I am sitting one in each plane. I am using a thin rod (sticking in strofoam) to hang a banner from which will have the table numbers on it. I have seen some promo items are are T-shirts shrink wrapped in the shape of an airplane. Your pilots are jet pilots probably - I am just using biplanes, since my party is in the local airport hangar.

Hi Rosa

I would love to help! I did a Sand Ceremony set for a pilot at NWA and it turned out so great I did their actual planes and still made it a bit romantic and I did favors to match. They were a really big hit.

You may email me at CMBCrafts2004@aol.com and I can send you some pictures.
